Backyard Zen

We were set to design this beautiful luxury gunite pool in Bloomfield Township Michigan. Retaining pools can be delicate to build, but this captivating haven unveils a blend of modernity and elegance. Built in 2021, this project was intentionally designed to be a simplistic layout with simple palettes, keeping it zen. The clients desired a lap pool, so we designed it to maximize the space. The patio pavers mimic stone tiles, using Unilock Beacon Hill XL in Opal, while the retaining wall using Techo-Bloc Borealis in Hazelnut Brandy resemble wooden beams, adding earthly tones. Natural marble veneer highlights the cascading fountain above the gunite pool. Surrounding the pool deck are privacy plants and flowering Japanese shrubs.
